Teaching Assistant - Thermal Sciences (ME 11C)

Caltech - Professor Ruby Fu
Mar. 2025 -> Jun. 2025

MISSION: Knowledge transfer and technical training in thermal systems engineering.

  • Conducted technical briefings on fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics principles
  • Evaluated and provided tactical feedback on engineering problem sets and assignments
  • Maintained consistent assessment standards across all cadet submissions

Lunar Inflatable Structures Development and Project Management

Caltech - Autonomous Robotics and Control Lab
Nov. 2023 -> Nov. 2024

MISSION: Develop and validate lunar habitat systems for extraterrestrial deployment.

  • Co-authored winning $150,000 proposal for lunar regolith shielding system and directed structural testing
  • Led 6-member engineering team in developing autonomous deployment methods and rocket integration
  • Spearheaded LS-Dyna FEA analysis and designed load cell/temperature sensor array to validate structural models
